Royal Gramma
Gramma loreto

The Royal Gramma originates from the Caribbean. This is a stunningly beautiful purple, yellow and black reef dweller. This fish sports a black line running from the tip of it's mouth back thru the eye. There is also a black dot on the front of the long dorsal fin. This is an excellent choice for small reef tanks. This is a very hardy and reasonably priced fish making it a great beginner's fish.

Normally peaceful to other reef inhabitants. Royal Grammas spend much of their time hanging around the rockwork at all types of angles and in some cases almost completley upside down.
